Week 16 in Review

1. Punctuation/Capitalization rule(s): Rule 16 from your EEL pg. 457

     Use a colon:

(a) to introduce a list or question
(b) between hours/minutes/seconds in time
(c) between chapter and verse or volume and page numbers in references or footnotes

2. Homophones: EEL pg. 485

4. Weekly Practice sentences: EEL pg. 433 (in Sentences section of the Student Notebook)
 All 5 sentences for Week 16
 
5.  Spelling (optional): EEL pg. 467
  
6. Editing (optional): In the Editing section of the Student Notebook, your student will have their 16th week exercises

7. Analytical Task Sheet:
Beginning students: Complete tasks 1-4 (on sentences 1-4) and experiment a little with task 5- Modification.   
Advanced students tasks 1-5 on all sentences this week.

8.  AHBW

Your Inventive Writing piece is due next week. 1st year students complete 1 paragraph. 2nd & 3rd year students complete 2-3 paragraphs.
