1. Punctuation/Capitalization rule(s): Rule 9 from your EEL pg. 457


     Use a comma before the conjunction in a compound sentence.

2. Homophones: EEL pg. 485
  • Student A: hire-higher
  • Student B: break-brake, grate-great, stake-steak, quiet-quite (not true homophones)
  • Student C: sign-sine
3. Grammar Charts:

    Charts: K (and review C- linking verbs only, D- irregular verbs, E- predicate nouns/nominatives)
